| The picturesque fishing village of Dunmore East is situated at the entrance to Waterford Harbour in the Barony of Gaultier and County of Waterford. Dunmore East is a fishing village and a tourist destination, it has much to please the holiday maker, safe beaches, excellent sailing facilities, fishing, tennis, delightful walks, and golf. It is 20 minutes from Waterford City with its world famous Crystal Factory, Regionalds Tower, Norman Walls and its wealth of history displayed and told in the Granary Tourist Office on the Quay in Waterford. Further afield the Comeragh Mountains offer a memorable scenic drive and for the golfer there are wonderful courses within easy drive from Tramore, (Waterford boasts three courses), The Castle Country Club, Faithleg, Waterford and Waterford Municipal to Dungarvan, New Ross, Kilkenny and many more. |
